Leadership is essential for the continued growth and success of the Saudi Electricity Company and Saudi Arabia. The growth in demand for electricity is one of the highest in the world, and the vision of becoming a company which takes the lead regionally and globally is a challenging goal. Out of this need for the identification and development of leadership SEC Executive Leadership Development Center (ELDC) was born.
We aim to establish a world class leadership development center, which serves SEC by delivering transformational leadership programs and leading the growth and change in SEC.
We teamed up with Leadership front-runners like Jeffery Barnes Consultancy, RBL (co-founded by Dave Ulrich) and Ross Business School (University of Michigan). Together we built a solid curriculum and approach to leadership development which will help our leaders transform the organization in alignment with our vision.
ELDC aims to provide an intellectual climate which can be used as a catalyst for change ,as well as for strengthening relationships globally.The development opportunities at the center are focused on our Targeted Talent; those we have identified as having excellent performance and potential, and those who are on leadership pipelines in the organization. Through workshops, action learning projects, coaching, and international exposure, we are ensuring that we will have strong leaders both now and in the future.We are proud of the success we have achieved. We have established a well-equipped, fit-for-purpose center that covers a global management spectrum.We are Leading the Change geared towards creating an impact that will be felt not only in SEC but also in the Kingdom.
